Two Ways to Connect

Google Business uses Place IDs for precise location matching
All other platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Yelp, Deliveroo, Talabat, TripAdvisor, etc.) use store URLs
You can set custom review collection frequencies for each location
Group multiple stores under the same location tag for unified analysis

Google Business Integration

Google Business integration works differently from other platforms. Instead of using URLs, it uses Place IDs to identify specific locations. This allows for more precise location matching and reliable review collection.

1

Login with your email and password at https://revelio.alternacx.com/integrations

2

Click on Google Reviews Integration.

3

Find your Google Place ID at Google Place ID Finder.

4

Enter the details for Google Place ID, location name, frequency, date, and number of reviews.

5

That's all you need to get started with Google Reviews data!

6

If you encounter any problems while adding the details, please email us at contactus@alternacx.com

Google Business Tip

When adding Google Business locations, you can type the location name (e.g., "Los Angeles McDonald's") and the system will list all matching locations. Place IDs are fetched automatically, and you can then pull reviews from each location.

URL-Based Platform Integrations

Most location-based integrations work by connecting your store's URL from the platform. This includes delivery platforms like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Talabat, as well as review sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor. The setup process is the same across all these platforms.

1

Login with your email and password at https://revelio.alternacx.com/integrations

2

Click on the integration you want to add (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Yelp, Deliveroo, Talabat, TripAdvisor, etc.).

3

Find your store's URL on the platform (e.g., your restaurant's page on doordash.com, ubereats.com, or yelp.com).

4

Enter the details for the store URL, location name, frequency, date, and number of reviews.

5

Now you are ready to get started with your location data!

Supported Platforms

Alterna CX supports numerous location-based platforms including DoorDash, Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Talabat, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and more. All URL-based platforms work the same way - simply paste the store's URL from the platform (e.g., a Nando's Deliveroo page or a Chick-fil-A DoorDash page), and the system will pull reviews from that exact location.

Grouping Multiple Locations

You can group stores under the same location tag to analyze them together, even if they come from different platforms. This is perfect for comparing performance across cities, regions, or analyzing multiple stores in the same area.

How Location Grouping Works

Before connecting an integration (Google Business, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Yelp, Deliveroo, Talabat, TripAdvisor, and more), enter a location tag such as "Istanbul" or "Los Angeles." Add that same tag for every store you want grouped together. All stores with the same location tag will automatically appear under one grouped location - even if they come from different integrations.

Example: Grouping Istanbul Locations

Let's say you have multiple restaurant locations in Istanbul:

Google Business: Kadıköy Branch Tag: "Istanbul"
DoorDash: Beşiktaş Branch Tag: "Istanbul"
Uber Eats: Şişli Branch Tag: "Istanbul"

All three locations will appear under one "Istanbul" group in your reports, allowing you to analyze city-wide performance across all platforms.

Pro Tip

Use consistent naming conventions for your location tags. For example, use "NYC" instead of mixing "New York," "New York City," and "NYC" to ensure all locations are properly grouped together.
